The secret of serving the perfect cup of tea is now no longer in the hands of the our mistress, instead any one can make it, because it just mathematics.  This is perhaps the team of researchers from the University of Northumbria, UK, have tried to infer. The fact moves on likes this:-

A team of researchers, commissioned by a milk company spent around 180 hours in lab, testing brewing methods of tea and a panel of volunteers consumed around 285 cups of tea. Said lead researcher Ian Brown, a food and nutrition expert in the university’s School of Life Science. Mr Brown further added, ‘When enjoying a cup of tea, our palette requires a balance between bitterness and sweetness.”

Their findings show that 10ml is the optimum amount of milk for a ‘great cuppa of tea’ due to the ability to synchronize the natural bitterness and enjoy a smoother taste sensation.

  The perfect Brew:

Allow a two minutes brewing time.

Remove your tea bag.

Add the ideal amount of milk, and that is 10 ml

Wait for about 6 minutes, so that the perfect drinking temperature of 60 degrees is achieved.
